What BARE3d is being scoped to do
Model for 3D printing
Build, clean up and prepare geometry that prints — solid, manifold, wall-thickness-sane and laid out for the build plate. The end of the pipeline is a printable object, not a pretty render.
Add height to 2D
Take a part from BAREcad or artwork from BAREdesign and extrude, elevate or revolve it into 3D. BARE3d is frequently the destination that turns flat input into solid form.
Export to print
Orient the finished geometry, check it is solid and printable, and produce the output a 3D printer or slicing step expects.
About BARE3d
BARE3d is the estate’s 3D modelling tool — a simple, in-house modeller for objects destined for 3D printing. It is REGISTERED across the BARE suite (Keystone Systems list, product registry, Quantum project column) so work can be queued, but it is not yet built — this landing is an honest placeholder while the scope is defined. BARE3d is part of the design family (design / cad / pdf / 3d) and is deliberately simple: model and prepare printable 3D objects, and add height to 2D input from its siblings.
